Recommended attack formation
1st Wave
There are defenders on both Flanks & Center
Center : attack with 100% Range soldiers (using Wall & Gate tools)
Right : attack with 100% Melee soldiers (using Range tools)
Range defenders note : In case of only range defenders, we attack the flank with most of them (since our range tools negate them) this way we minimize our looses on the courtyard, by having fewer defenders. In addition, there is no need to use wall/gate tools on 100% range defenders
Tools : showing wooden tools for demonstration only. Feel free to use other tools from same type

Other Waves
Attackers : fill all other waves with 100% melee to minimize looses on courtyard. Since attackers power vary, we can not predict the exact results. Best practice is to fill all waves, so you can also maximize your loot in battle
Commander : all calculations are based on equal power for melee & range in attacking commander

I used 2 burn waves on right and middle and still had troops so must be more than just 2 of them
